Job Introduction:

To continually review and improve security performance throughout the operation of the business unit, develop and implement security strategies in line with the company business plan, enhancing organizational capacit

Role Responsibility:

  • Organizational Development
  1. Continuous development and amendment of operational procedures in order to ensure that they remain relevant and up to date
  2. Implements  standing operational procedures in order to ensure that crews provide service in accordance with set company standards
  • Service Excellence
  1. Monitors leave days accrued, ensuring that staffs go on rest and leave days are kept within maximum limit for each employee
  2. Ensures Efficient management of subordinates, ensuring that morale is high, staff is well trained, productive staff is developed, promotion of right candidates
  3. Rolls out all operational developments to all branches, ensuring uniformity across all branches
  4. Sets up performance analysis/monitoring reports and carefully analyse them, ensuring good service levels are met
  • Financial
  1. Monitors vehicle expenses and labour costs, ensuring they are within budget
  2. Oversees preparation of wages, ensuring that wages paid out are accurate
  • Quality
  1. Oversees response fleet; renewal of fleet licences, BA permits, facilitating vehicle repairs, damages on fleet accounted for, careful use of fleet
  2. Keeps and maintains an asset register for all company equipment, ensuring equipment is well taken care of and accounted for at all times
  3. Keeps average response time within our target time limit
  4. Maintains firm staff discipline

The Ideal Candidate:

Knowledge:

  • G4S Operational Policy and procedures
  • Health and Safety legislation
  • Recognized related Degree or equivalent, knowledge of security, labour and health and safety legislation
  •  At least 5 years in the security environment of which 2 years should have been at a managerial role
