Package Description: Remuneration and benefits will be commensurate with the seniority of the role and in compliance with company remuneration policy and practice. 

Job Introduction:

Main Purpose:

  • Provide a central point of co-ordination for the regions in Africa to enable a span of control across Africa.
  • Appoint and manage leaders in each country to ensure standard process is adopted by the Service teams in each country, technical, HR and business.

Role Responsibility:

  • Reduction in risk profile for countries in region
  • Standardisation of Service Management processes
  • Improved service availability for countries in region
  • Control of cost to budget
  • Ensure fully supported services across region
  • Adherence to Global strategy and standards across Countries in region.

 


The Ideal Candidate:

Knowledge:

  • ITIL,
  • Prince 2,
  • Service Management skills,
  • Leadership skills

Skills:

  • Excellent management skills and the ability to interface with users and resources at all levels.
  • Excellent understanding of ITIL.
  • Excellent communication skills, professional appearance and customer service skills required.
  • A motivated, proactive, innovative and committed individual is required to succeed in this role.
  • Candidate must be prepared to demonstrate flexibility.
  • Excellent matrix management skills.
  • Excellent team management skills.
