Job Introduction:

G4S Security Services Cameroon PLC, a leading global integrated security solutions company, has a vacancy for a Sales & Communication Executive based at our office in Douala.

Reporting to the Sales Director, the key purposes of this role are:

  • To create and implement communications strategies that further our goals. We’re in need of someone who can promote our brand, interact with the public and establish productive relationships with key stakeholders.
  • To develop and grow Cash 360, Manned Security as well as Electronic Security Services in a specific geographical area.

The position requires a 5 years’ experience in the corporate communication; and 3-5 years’ experience in a professional sales environment; with a proven track record of closing deals and achieving targets.

The successful incumbent is a self-starter with a proven track record of success in the communications sector or related fields, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. The incumbent will be expected to be results driven and to live the values of the organisation

Role Responsibility:

Effective & efficient communication with all stakeholders

  • Develop, support and promote company goals, including message development, (social) media content creation and media outreach.
  • Develop and disseminate public relations materials that increase our visibility among stakeholders
  • Identify target audiences and create strategies to effectively engage them
  • Support the implementation of key messages defined in Communications Strategy across all functions and media including development of all organizational documentation
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, investors and customer audiences
  • Support the management of strategic communications conferences and exhibitions we attend – including setting purposes and objectives, pre-planning, briefings, logistics, presentations, posters, exhibitions stands and collaterals, conference roles and responsibilities; metrics and data tracking and post conference evaluation and actions close out
  • Co-ordinate content generation for the website with the Operations & Technical teams e.g. new products, innovative services, case studies, success stories, etc.
  • Sensitive & crisis communication
  • Handle Corporate Social Responsibility projects launched by the company, and evaluate impact.

Development of new businesses & Retention of existing ones

  • Ensure effective development of sales of new and existing product lines
    • Identification of potential new business opportunities for Cash 360 Services, Manned Security Services and Electronic Security Services through consultation and cooperation with operational management and Sales Director with planned prospecting, leads, cold calling, tender notices.


  • Arrange and conduct meetings with new and existing business prospects where appropriate, to market G4S integrated Solutions.
  • Conduct / arrange site surveys to identify risks and develop appropriate solution to do system design in order to meet customer needs.
  • Review cash cycle of customers to identify where Cash 360 services will add value to client.
  • Run campaigns aiming at promoting new products & services, especially for Cash 360 & Electronic Security Services.
  • Conduct competitor evaluations to identify risks and develop appropriate solutions through thorough understanding of the competitor environment faced by the region. Liaise with operations on competitor analysis to share knowledge and focus on viable business opportunities.
  • Reach and achieve sales targets, focusing on high margin business, and developing business near operational centers
  • Monitor relationship with designated top customers, scheduling regular visits to ascertain customer satisfaction
  • Preparation and submission of weekly sales activities report: visits, Appointments, offers made, signed contracts
  • Effective use of CRM system – salesforce

The Ideal Candidate:

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in corporate communication; 3 years’ experience in a professional sales environment (service industry related experience recommended) with a proven track record of closing deals and achieving targets
  • Proven network with local media, and public authorities
  • Experienced in dealing with senior executives.
  • Proven experience communicating in highly sensitive/crisis situations.
  • Perfect mastery of English & French language.
  • Experience in long sales cycles essential
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with high profile individuals
  • History of successful execution.
