Job Introduction:

The purpose of the role is to ensure a robust and consistent process for regional resourcing to support G4S Africa’s business objectives. This will involve the management of a centralised resourcing function, enhancing the talent acquisition proposition, building external talent pipelines and implementing key metrics and measurements.

Role Responsibility:

Responsibilities :

Promote Employer Value Proposition (EVP) :

  • Ensure that the G4S Employer brand and EVP is promoted effectively through all media channels used for resourcing.
  • Participation in Career Expos
  • Attending Expo’s and events relevant to talent management practice and brand building
  • Building of pipelines for managerial and professional capabilities in conjunction with stakeholder requirements


Develop external pipeline for Top 5 Function :

  • Create and implement pipeline management processes
  • Review workforce plans for all businesses to plan for future vacancies
  • Liaise with Line Management regarding current employee compliment and immediate, mid and long term succession plans


Manage End to End Resourcing Processes within agree timeframes :

  • Management of Centralized Resourcing function
  • Work within agreed time frame with stakeholder support
  • Management and negotiation of Resourcing supplier agreements
  • Ensure efficient and cost effective methodologies are used for resourcing employees
  • Liaise and consult with line management with regards to resourcing needs and ideal candidate profiles


Ensure Screening and Vetting compliance per business :

  • Ensure adherence to internal HR Core standards regarding resourcing, selection, screening and vetting
  • Contribute to process development


Ensure Recruiter and Line Management Hiring Capability with regards to Talent and Resourcing    :

  • Enhance candidate selection criteria including the alignment of strategic and managerial job competency frameworks with recruitment and selection processes
  • Alignment of competency based psychometric assessments and internal competency framework
  • Implementation and management of the G4S Africa Career Centre
  • Ensure that Company interactions with candidates enhance the Group’s reputation and brand

The Ideal Candidate:

Minimum Qualifications & Experience


  • Relevant formal tertiary qualification (postgraduate preferred) in Human Resources and or Organisational Psychology
  • 5-10 years’ experience in a resourcing environment, preferably with experience an in-house recruitment function (experience in the security industry is advantageous)
  • 3 years’ experience in executive search / headhunting processes with a preference for Africa exposure
